FAQ

The Nutritional Therapy philosophy is centered on the idea that real health can be achieved through a holistic and bio-individualized approach to nutrition, supplementation, and lifestyle. Implemented using a science-based approach, NT harnesses the power of real food, to empower you to reconnect with the innate wisdom and unique needs of your body, supporting lasting health and wellness. This foundational, holistic approach focuses on the importance of a properly prepared, nutrient-dense, whole food diet paired with a well-balanced lifestyle. Nutritional Therapy also honors the body’s innate intelligence and its incredible capacity to restore, regenerate, and correct itself – when given the tools and nutrients to do so.

Functional Blood Chemistry (FBC) is the foundation of blood labs analysis. With FBC, we can look into not only nearly every system of the body using blood markers, we get a comprehensive look at what’s happening from a cellular level. FBC is also more accessible, affordable, and easier to retest more often. There is no other testing method that is as bio-individual and customizable as FBC. You get to pick and choose exactly what you get to test, whether it’s 1 singular marker or 100+.

In Restorative Wellness Gastrointestinal Healing, we use advanced clinical tools such as lab testing, results interpretation, and customized protocol development to resolve even the most complicated gastrointestinal issues. We restore GI function and integrity through testing and interpretation of comprehensive stool analysis, GI-MAP, H. pylori and SIBO testing.

You can schedule a free call to apply to work with me HERE. We will discuss your health concerns and goals and decide on the best plan of action for your unique needs.

Your initial one-on-one session will include an in-depth, comprehensive health, nutrition and lifestyle assessment, accompanied by an interactive discussion about your goals and your health concerns. We’ll explore your symptoms, diagnosis and treatment of existing conditions, your medical history, use of medication or supplements, your lifestyle, your stress levels, your habits related to food, drink, movement, and exercise (to whatever extent you feel comfortable). This in-depth individual analysis, along with the use of extensive evidence-based nutritional science, enables me to determine your individual needs, and to develop a personalized nutrition and lifestyle program. Together we’ll agree on a personalized health plan that fits your lifestyle, budget, and preferences. I’ll prepare a personalized plan including food and lifestyle suggestions, and also make recommendations for a suggested supplement plan if needed.

Payment is due upon booking or can be made during the appointment. I accept most major credit cards or transfers via Paypal, Venmo, or Zelle.

Currently, I do not; however, you may be able to use funds from an HSA if your doctor prescribes a visit with a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner. Many insurance companies do not cover out-of-network appointments for occupational therapy, nutrition, and disease prevention services (such as functional medicine). My fees are comparable to those of other service providers in the nutrition, medical and healthcare industries.

I am based in St. Pete Beach, Florida, but I see all clients via remote/virtual appointments using video conferencing software. Phone consultations are also an option for those who prefer.
